PCB Repair Service

 20,00

Dead row, snapped USB-C, lifted pad, fried diode? Most keyboard PCB deaths are fixable. Send me photos first and you get a free assessment and a capped quote before any money moves: €20 covers up to an hour on the bench, and most single-fault repairs fit inside it. I fix, test every key, and ship back, usually within a week of receiving the board.

Not sure if yours is saveable? Ask on Discord or the contact form. Worst case the answer is free.

PCB repair service

If your keyboard PCB stopped working — a snapped USB-C port, a dead hotswap socket, a lifted pad, a fried diode — there’s a good chance I can fix it on the bench. I do this for my own builds and for community members all the time. €20 is the base rate for up to an hour of work, and most single-fault repairs fit comfortably in that window.

How it works

  1. Get a quote first. Message me through the contact form, Twitter, or the Discord with photos of the damage and what’s not working. I’ll tell you whether it’s fixable, how long it’ll take, and the price (€20/hour, capped quote up front).
  2. Ship the PCB to me — I’ll give you the Spain address after we’ve agreed on the work.
  3. I fix, test, and ship back — usually inside a week of receipt. You pay the agreed price plus return shipping.

Things I commonly fix

  • Snapped USB-C / USB-Micro connectors (send the broken part or I source one)
  • Dead hot-swap sockets (replace with new Kailh)
  • Lifted or damaged switch pads — bridge-wire repair
  • Missing or fried SMD components
  • Full assembly from your component bag, if you got partway and gave up
  • Layout flips on the Melody96 (A/B/C/D)
  • Hand-soldering or machine soldering, depending on the job

Things I will not fix

  • Boards already covered in flux residue that’s eaten the traces
  • Counterfeit / clone PCBs where I can’t source replacement parts

A note on price

The €20 add-to-cart line is the minimum charge. Anything bigger gets quoted up front before any work starts — I’d rather under-promise than surprise you with an invoice.
